Mr. Oliver is the president of geoBLT. GeoBLT’s solution based approach to project assessment, design and implementation is what sets it apart from many GIS consulting firms. The experience, reliability and vision of its management provide long range solutions to its clients.

Mr. Oliver has a strong background in project management, even prior to his local government and GIS experience. His expertise and experience in the private sector from a project management perspective includes the construction management of small projects to multi-million dollar commercial projects, bringing projects in on time and on budget. His construction experience has provided him the knowledge to understand the workflows and processes in the local government environment.

With 15 years in GIS management at the local government level, Mr. Oliver has successfully deployed GIS at the county level while assisting local governments coordinate and expand their use of GIS technology. Thus providing an understanding of the varying needs of users at all skill levels and then successfully deploying GIS to meet those needs. Mr. Oliver also understands the necessity to see the bigger picture, building to meet the current needs and skills, but never forgetting the vision and working towards that goal.
